Prior to joining Carnstone, Sam spent time consulting at a craft brewery, including creating a full carbon-footprint. This followed his dissertation highlighting the challenges UK craft breweries face decarbonising in line with a 2050 national target. Sam holds a BEng in Chemical Engineering, and an MSc in Engineering Business Management, both from the University of Bath. Sam’s experience of both the technical and business side allows him to assimilate complex data and maintain a holistic view of the relevant business challenges. Sam is also on the Volunteer Net Zero Strategy team for a community owned Bath pub.
